Day 5 – July 19 – British History Day July 20, 2008

Filed under: Chronological,England — The Travel Guy @ 6:05 am

We started off with a tour of the Tower of London.  This was a rare chance to look at a 530 carat diamond mounted at the top of the Queen’s crown.  The Yomen did a great job of giving us a tour of the grounds and history of the site.  He also provided some great humor.

Hey guys – already looks absolutely phenomenal!

    Hope all’s well.

You’ll be in some of the most interesting parts (for me, anyway – WWII sites) during my birthday, by the looks of things.

Hope that car is big enough to fit you folks OK.

Andrew, wear better shoes … flops are hell on the feet!
